COVID-19 Safety Protocol at Ventfort Hall

For general museum admission:

  • Guests must practice social distancingby keeping distance between yourselves and others (to the best of your ability) who are not in your party. Follow directional arrows when applicable.
  • Sanitize your handswhen you enter the house and during your visit. Hand sanitizing stations are provided throughout the house.
  • Masks are encouraged but not required for visitors and staff. Please be respectful of anyone’s choice whether they choose to wear a mask or not.

All tours are self-guided to allow for social distancing. Docents are available during your visit to answer any questions you may have or discuss the history of the house. Informational material is provided throughout the house as well as an audio tour you can follow on your smartphone — please bring headphones if possible (although not necessary).

There will be no pre-registration and visitation will be by walk-in only. Hours of operation are daily 10am-4pm, with the final admission at 3:15pm.

If you are not feeling well or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, have been exposed to anyone with the virus within the last 5 days, or have been advised to self-quarantine or isolate within the last 5 days, please delay your visit to a later time and contact us to discuss rescheduling options where applicable.

There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Ventfort Hall cannot be held responsible for any potential exposure or contraction of the COVID-19 virus due to visiting the museum.

Please be in touch if you have any other questions regarding your plans to visit by emailing info@gildedage.org at any time or calling 413-637-3206 during business hours.
